fragment loops.of glittering world is a work in three forms. a composed soundscape built from synthesized loops, moving across four movements. four texts in language that performs the same fragmentation it describes. four signal scores made by running a diné saddle blanket woven by my cheii's sister through digital processing until the weave becomes distorted image, held at the threshold of recognition. the work is a conversation with extraction. with the taking of ore and clay and mineral and material from earth. with the systems that have made that taking feel like beauty.
